Job Description

We are seeking a VP, Product Owner II to join our Loans Enablement Platform, located in Houston, TX (3 days in office) or Pittsburgh, PA.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own the product strategy, roadmaps, and quarterly initiatives for a loan product.
2. Align platform strategies with organizational objectives using data, metrics, and KPIs.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into epics and stories.
4. Prioritize work based on business value, estimated revenue, operational KPIs, and KRIs.
5. Guide the team through story clarification, acceptance criteria, and validation.
6. Identify and escalate issues, understanding interrelated features and complex problems.
7. Define measurement and instrumentation for post-release analysis.
8. Assess and improve user experience, creating wireframes as needed.
9. Participate actively in sprint reviews and facilitate operational handoffs.
10. Promote agile practices, DevOps, and automated testing.

Qualifications

1. 6+ years of experience in loan markets, asset classes, or related financial systems.
2. Experience with systems implementation and MVP determination.
3. Ability to decompose complex initiatives into incremental value-driven stories.
4. Strong collaboration, influence, and decision-making skills.
5. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
6. Experience in product management and agile methodologies.
