We’re hiring on behalf of Blooming Health, a mission-driven SaaS company transforming how underserved communities access social and preventive care. Following a fresh $26 million funding round, they’re looking for a VP of Sales to lead their go-to-market strategy and scale revenue across healthcare, government, and nonprofit segments.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in early-stage, fast-growth environments and wants to build something meaningful from the ground up.

About the Role

As VP of Sales, you’ll be the first senior sales leader on the team — owning strategy, execution, and team building across both the Enterprise (healthcare) and Service Provider (government and nonprofit) verticals.

You’ll manage a team of Enterprise AEs, develop the sales infrastructure, and drive performance against aggressive growth targets. From building playbooks to refining GTM motions and working cross-functionally with Product and Marketing, this is a rare opportunity to architect and lead a sales function that makes a real-world impact.

What You’ll Do

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead and mentor a team of Enterprise Account Executives
  • Set and execute scalable GTM strategies across healthcare and government segments
  • Design and refine sales processes, ICP messaging, and regional land-and-expand tactics
  • Drive deal velocity, pipeline quality, quota attainment, and accurate forecasting
  • Represent Blooming Health in strategic sales conversations with C-level buyers

Team Performance & Enablement

  • Set KPIs, quotas, and dashboards that drive high accountability
  • Collaborate with the CCO on comp plans that align with team growth and goals
  • Build out sales enablement programs to ensure consistent onboarding and ramp

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product to relay customer feedback and influence roadmap
  • Partner with Marketing on ABM campaigns, messaging, and lead quality
  • Align with Account Management on expansion strategies and success planning

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years in B2B SaaS sales (healthtech, govtech, or social impact preferred)
  • 2+ years in a sales leadership or VP-level role
  • Experience closing multi-million dollar deals with C-level decision makers
  • Strong knowledge of health systems, Medicaid/Medicare Advantage, or state agencies
  • Comfortable in complex sales environments: procurement, RFPs, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Proven ability to build repeatable processes and scale a sales org from early stage
  • Strong in forecasting, coaching, enablement, and data-driven performance management
