As we expand, we are seeking an experienced VP of Sales to lead our national field organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, the VP of Sales will drive revenue growth across our full product and services portfolio and help shape our long-term strategy. Primary Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a national team of Regional Sales Managers, building a culture of accountability, performance, and growth.
- Recruit and retain top-performing sales talent; invest in the development of the people around you.
- Drive profitable revenue growth across MetroTech’s products and services portfolio.
- Partner with the CRO on strategy, pricing, and national growth initiatives.
- Improve pipeline management, forecasting, CRM discipline, and sales accountability across the organization.
- Translate commercial strategy into consistent field execution, ensuring clear priorities, disciplined follow-through, and measurable results across territories.
Dealer & Partner Relationships
- Strengthen and expand relationships with dealer groups, agents, and strategic partners.
- Represent MetroTech at major industry events and executive customer meetings.
- Serve as a senior voice in the room for our most important dealer conversations.
- Provide competitive intelligence and actionable market insight to executive leadership.
- Identify emerging opportunities in the automotive aftermarket and translate them into commercial strategy.
Required Experience
- Typically 20+ years of progressive automotive sales experience, including significant leadership responsibility within the dealership channel — with a clear track record of results at scale.
- Proven success selling automotive chemical products, appearance protection programs, or closely related solutions to franchised automotive dealers.
- Meaningful experience with F&I products, dealership finance operations, or dealer profitability programs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead regional or national field sales organizations through growth.
- Executive presence and strong relationship-building skills at the dealer group and C-suite level.
- CRM fluency and comfort with KPI-driven sales management and forecasting.
Preferred Background
- Experience with dealership chemical programs, reconditioning, detail operations, or dealer-installed products.
- An existing network within major dealer groups and the broader automotive retail community.
