We source the highest-quality, flavorful olives from Greece and package them in convenient, liquid-free pouches for a fresh, modern snacking experience. We are on a mission to revolutionize snacking on delicious whole foods, and we believe we can olive better. Since launching in 2022, we’ve expanded into over 4,500 retail locations, including Whole Foods, CVS, Harris Teeter, CIBO airport stores, and even Delta Airlines. The options for growth are limitless, and we are seeking a rockstar Vice President of Sales to drive our next phase of growth.

About the Role:

Freestyle Snacks is looking for an experienced, results-driven sales leader to solidify and expand our presence across grocery, mass, club, and foodservice channels. As Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing our sales strategy, building out an internal and external team, deepening relationships with key partners and distributor reps, developing KPIs to establish success at every level, and working cross-functionally to ensure a cohesive approach to customer relationship management.

You will be a critical part of our leadership team, playing a key role in shaping the future of the brand and driving sustainable growth, while upholding Freestyle’s core values: follow-through, continuous improvement, grit, and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth across all sales channels.
  • Expand retail distribution by securing new national and regional accounts while strengthening relationships with existing wholesale partners.
  • Oversee the retail promotional budget, maximizing ROI by leveraging account-specific strategies and the most effective growth tools.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Set clear KPIs and performance benchmarks for sales representatives and brokers, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Utilize internal and syndicated sales data to manage trade spend, develop sales narratives, and monitor KPIs.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and promos to maximize sales and profits.
  • Lead, hire, and develop a top-tier sales team, including brokers and direct sales reps.
  • Keep customers happy and find ways to improve their buy-in to Freestyle Snacks in the category.
  • Represent Freestyle Snacks at industry events, trade shows, and key customer meetings.

  • Proven CPG Sales Leadership – Extensive experience scaling leveling up a challenger brand in retail, driving growth and market expansion.
  • Strong Industry Relationships – Well-established connections with key retailers, buyers, brokers, and distributors (KeHE, UNFI).
  • Strategic & Hands-On Execution – Ability to set high-level strategy while executing with precision and agility.
  • Resilience & Problem-Solving – Resourceful and solutions-oriented, with the grit to tackle challenges head-on.
  • Collaborative Leadership – A team-first mindset with the ability to inspire, influence, and work cross-functionally.
  • Data-Driven & Financially Savvy – Skilled in managing trade spend, forecasting, and optimizing P&L impact.
  • All-In Mentality – A highly collaborative team player with a “no-task-too-small, no-task-too-big” approach to driving results.

Job Requirements:

  • A proven sales leader with 10+ years of experience in CPG sales, preferably in natural foods, snacks, or premium grocery categories.
  • Knowledge of tools (MS Office, CRM systems) to prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, sales forecasts, and key account activities throughout the year.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Passionate about food, snacking, and changing the way consumers enjoy olives!
