Our confidential client is seeking an accomplished Vice President of Operations to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across a portfolio of skilled nursing facilities throughout Colorado and Utah. This executive leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, strengthening financial performance, developing high-performing leaders, and ensuring the delivery of outstanding resident care.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Vice President of Operations serves as a key member of the executive leadership team, partnering closely with Division and Regional leadership to execute strategic initiatives that improve operational performance, financial results, regulatory compliance, and quality outcomes across multiple skilled nursing facilities.

The successful candidate will provide mentorship and support to Executive Directors and Administrators while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This leader will be instrumental in advancing organizational growth while ensuring each facility delivers exceptional resident care and operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across multiple skilled nursing facilities.
  • Partner with Division and Regional leadership to develop and execute long-term operational strategies that align with organizational goals.

  • Strong knowledge of skilled nursing regulations, survey processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Extensive experience managing budgets, financial performance, and profit and loss (P&L).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational growth and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Strong strategic planning and operational execution abilities.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze performance metrics and drive measurable results.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care operations.
  • Multi-site operational leadership experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience managing financial performance, budgets, and P&L responsibility.
  • Thorough understanding of state and federal skilled nursing regulations and survey processes.
  • Proven track record of improving operational performance, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to travel throughout Florida and Georgia as needed.
