  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve census, control labor costs, and strengthen financial performance.

  • Partner with Finance, Revenue Cycle, and facility leadership to improve collections, reimbursement, and accounts receivable performance.

  • Monitor staffing expenses, agency utilization, overtime, and labor productivity.

  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce unnecessary agency reliance while maintaining appropriate staffing levels and quality care.

  • Establish financial accountability and ensure timely corrective action when performance falls below expectations.

Quality Care & Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure facilities maintain compliance with applicable federal and Virginia healthcare regulations, including CMS requirements.

  • Partner with clinical leadership to promote high standards of resident care, safety, satisfaction, and quality outcomes.

  • Oversee operational readiness for state surveys, inspections, and regulatory reviews.

  • Support facilities in developing and implementing effective plans of correction when necessary.

  • Support accurate master scheduling and staffing plans based on facility census and operational needs.

  • Promote employee engagement, retention, and leadership development.

  • Ensure timely communication and decision-making regarding critical staffing needs, leadership vacancies, and operational priorities.

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing facility Administrators and operational leaders.

  • Establish clear performance expectations and hold leadership teams accountable for results.

  • Build a culture of collaboration, transparency, ownership, and continuous improvement.

  • Identify leadership development opportunities and support succession planning.
