Position Summary : The Vice President of Marketing & Revenue Strategy will be responsible for overseeing all sales execution, marketing performance, lead generation, pricing and positioning for Maplewood Senior Living and related entities. The Vice President of Marketing & Revenue Strategy will help develop and / or execute marketing and sales initiatives such as external business development, marketing, sales and business plans, strategies and campaigns, public relations, and branding Maplewood related products, services and overall brand converting brand awareness into revenue.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services relating to business development, lead generation, and growth.
  • Oversees all key sales reports for company; identifies and meets assigned targets for key performance objectives for occupancy and revenue goals
  • Leads the sales culture and performance
  • Overseeing the equitable allocation of organization sales objectives across all marketplaces and talent
  • Provides leadership and mentoring of sales and sales management talent
  • Establish sales development and training objectives essential to the organization’s success, maintains outcomes to ensure high ROI through active, productive partnerships with HR and senior leadership peers
  • Provide oversight to ensure maintenance of a consistent corporate image and brand throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events is held.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with defined key strategic partners and represents Maplewood in external business development capacity.
  • Evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions relating to initiatives for Maplewood related entities.
  • Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
  • Controls expenditures of department to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Supports the achievement of strategic objectives critical to other functional areas within the organization such as Human Resources. Demonstrates consistent execution of Maplewood’s Standards & Practices in sales and marketing performance to achieve success.

  • Skilled in customer service and able to resolve concerns and conflicts in a professional and timely manner
  • Ability to effectively present information on one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization
  • Maintains open communication with Senior Executive Team to ensure smooth operation of business
  • Communicates effectively and proficiently with supervisor, department colleagues as well as all staff
  • Advises supervisor of any business concerns or issues immediately

Education / Experience / Licensure / Certification

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in sales, marketing or business administration or equivalent number of years of experience
  • 5) years of related experience with progressive management experience.
  • Presents with a positive, engaging, and professional demeanor
  • Possesses excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent customer service, marketing and public relations skills and focus
  • Possesses excellent business acumen and leadership skills
  • Possesses excellent problem solving / analytical skills
  • Required to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Must be accessible by phone when not working to address potential business concerns
  • Required to work extended hours and to report to work during times of need including inclement weather and when business concerns arise
  • Subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc.
  • Could be subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents due to mental status
