Signify Technology seeks a Vice President of Infrastructure to unify and lead a mixed estate of on-premise, colocation, and cloud. You will own the enterprise infrastructure roadmap, budgets, and vendor relations, reporting to the CIO/CTO.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT infrastructure with 5+ years leading infrastructure teams at director level or above.
• Proven ownership of enterprise infrastructure strategy and budgets.
• Experience across on-prem, colocation, and major cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise infrastructure strategy and multi-year roadmap across compute, storage, network, and data center.
• Lead and grow the infrastructure, network, and systems engineering teams, including hiring and mentoring.
• Own the infrastructure budget, including capital planning and TCO optimization.
• Set direction for hybrid infrastructure and workload strategy across on-prem, colocation, and cloud.
• Ensure availability, capacity planning, and disaster recovery with tested continuity plans.
• Oversee data center operations, consolidation or exit programs as needed.
• Manage enterprise networking and connectivity to cloud providers.

Job title: Vice President of Infrastructure

Salary: $195,000 to $260,000 base plus performance bonus (DOE)

Role Location: Florida (Hybrid or Onsite) preferred. Remote considered nationally for the right leader.

The company: Signify Technology is retained on a confidential search for a Vice President of Infrastructure. Our client is an established organization running a mixed estate of on-premise, colocation, and cloud infrastructure, and they are hiring an executive to consolidate it under one strategy and one leader. This seat owns the systems the whole business runs on, reporting into the CIO or CTO, with authority over the roadmap, the vendor relationships, and the team. Because this is a confidential search, the client is named on a first conversation. Role And Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise infrastructure strategy and multi-year roadmap across compute, storage, network, and data center.
• Lead and grow the infrastructure, network, and systems engineering teams, including hiring, mentoring, and development.
• Own the infrastructure budget, including capital planning, refresh cycles, and total cost of ownership.
• Set the direction for hybrid infrastructure and drive the workload strategy between on-premise, colocation, and cloud.
• Own availability, capacity planning, and disaster recovery, including business continuity testing.
• Lead data center operations, consolidation, or exit programs as the strategy requires.
• Own enterprise networking, including WAN, SD-WAN, and connectivity to cloud providers.
• Partner with Security to harden the estate and meet audit and compliance obligations.
• Own vendor, carrier, and hardware relationships, including contract negotiation and renewals.
• Drive automation and modern operations practices to reduce manual work and unplanned outages.

Job Requirements

• 10 or more years in IT infrastructure, with 5 or more years leading infrastructure teams at manager, director, or above.
• Proven ownership of an enterprise infrastructure strategy and its capital and operating budget.
• Deep, hands-on background across compute, storage, virtualization, and enterprise networking.
• Experience running hybrid environments spanning on-premise or colocation and at least one major cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Demonstrated ownership of a data center consolidation, migration, or exit program.
• Strong grounding in disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability design.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Track record of building, leading, and retaining a technical team.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
