Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Vice President of Finance to join our team!
The Vice President of Finance would provide leadership and management for the Finance department. Their responsibilities would include safeguarding the agency’s resources through accurate collection and analysis of data and securing positive outcomes related to strategic planning within the Finance department. In this role you may make independent decisions on a regular basis that require a complete understanding of accounting, state statutes, and federal regulations for billing, and align financial incentives and accountability around contractual financial viability requirements.

On a Typical Day, You Might
- Produce, develop, and validate financial model outcomes, savings modeling assumptions, and ROI recommendations.
- Produce, develop, and maintain key performance indicators to enable performance management and accountability with a focus on financial strategy, risk retention strategies, and solvency.
- Support rate negotiations with the State and Medicaid actuaries.
- Provide decision support through business forecasting, operations, and analytical processes to support models of financial impact and optimize financial resources.
- Identify and develop strategies for growth and cost containment using appropriate business models and capabilities to support the organization’s strategic vision.
- Develop process flows for payment arrangements with any delegated services and operationalize.
- Expend funds in accordance with budget, state, federal, OSB, and GASB guidelines.
- Provide supervision of the Finance Directors, Managers, Finance team, and Supporting staff.

Education
Qualifications:
A Master’s degree in business administration or business field is required.
Experience
Three (3) years of experience in administrative management of a business or government entity in budget preparation, gathering, editing, and analyzing data.
Additionally, must have at least two (2) years of supervisory experience with two (2) or more employees.
Preferred Experience
Experience with State/Federal health programs, such as Medicaid.
License/Certification
Must have a valid driver’s license
Preferred License/Certification
Accounting or financial related certifications preferred
Location:
Remote within North Carolina.
Must reside in NC to be considered for remote status.
