Qualifications

Your role within the team

H&H Group’s brands Zesty Paws and Solid Gold are Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) brands with a strong presence in the pet category. Over the years, we have successfully expanded our footprint through Amazon and various e-retail platforms. As we continue to evolve and grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Vice President of Ecommerce to lead our efforts in enhancing our Amazon presence and Pure Player partnerships.

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic VP of Ecommerce to lead and shape our E-commerce strategy. This role will be pivotal in driving our growth, expanding our presence on Amazon and optimizing Pure Player relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive ecommerce business strategy, collaborating cross-functionally, and staying ahead of industry trends.

Duties and responsibilities

Ecommerce Strategy Development

• Define and articulate a clear ecommerce business strategy that aligns with the overall company objectives.
• Identify opportunities for growth in Amazon and Pure Players channels.
• Keep abreast of market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy.
• Drive top and bottom-line growth on Amazon and other ecommerce platforms.
• Building and executing product and marketing strategies and tactics that deliver the revenue and profit objectives.
• Execute new product listings, positioning browse nodes, keyword research, reviews and ranking to ensure exceptional new product launches on ecommerce.
• Review and enhance all channel related marketing processes, measurements, and information systems that enable the overall channel-specific marketing function to operate efficiently and effectively.
• Lead monthly business reviews, forecasting/reforecasting, and annual planning/budgeting. Must have a strong ability to manage the numbers, communicate results, and proactively build plans to close any gaps.

Amazon Excellence

• Oversee the Amazon sales channel, optimizing product listings, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Amazon key account managers.
• Drive initiatives to increase visibility, customer ratings, and sales on the platform.

Pure Player Partnerships

• Manage existing partnerships and identify new opportunities for collaboration.
• Negotiate and execute agreements that enhance our brand's visibility and sales on e-retail platforms.
• Monitor performance metrics and ensure compliance with partner agreements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, and IT teams to ensure alignment with digital business goals.

Team Leadership

• Build and lead a high-performing digital business team, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

• Familiarity with future technologies, such as Amazon Marketing Stream, Amazon Marketing Cloud, AI, and ML, is desirable.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to influence and inspire teams.
• Experience managing external agency relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
