Job summary

A leading clean energy firm is seeking a Head of US Origination & Power Marketing. This role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive market strategy for BESS platforms and leading underwriting frameworks. Candidates should have extensive experience in the US BESS markets and a relevant bachelor's degree. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits including medical insurance and a pension plan.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in US BESS markets.
• Deep understanding of both the FTM and BTM battery storage.
• Market knowledge and technical expertise, with an understanding of state-level programs.

Salary: $200-250k + Bonus + Equity

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and execute a comprehensive market strategy for BESS platform
• Lead the creation of underwriting frameworks for BESS projects
• Work closely with asset management, origination, and corporate development teams to ensure cross-collaboration and successful execution
• Partner with Pre-construction team to select and procure the most suitable BESS projects
• Monitor and analyze performance data to recommend adjustments that maximize efficiency and profitability

Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience in US BESS markets
• Deep understanding of both the FTM and BTM battery storage
• Market knowledge and technical expertise, with an understanding of state-level programs
• Bachelor's in Engineering, Business, or related field
