Job summary

Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains is seeking a physician leader to serve as Vice President, Clinical Care. This on-site role will shape the clinical vision across a multi-site health system and advance high-quality sexual and reproductive healthcare.

Reporting to the COO, the VP will strengthen clinical standards, develop clinical leaders, and support operational excellence while guiding care delivery across Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming, ensuring patient-centered, inclusive care.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required; board certification preferred in OB-GYN.
• Extensive experience in sexual and reproductive healthcare.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Ability to translate priorities into clinical outcomes.
• Commitment to patient-centered, inclusive, equitable care.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and clinical leadership across services (family planning, abortion care, gynecology, gender-affirming care).
• Strengthen clinical standards and develop clinical leaders.
• Support operational excellence and care delivery across CO, NM, WY.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and COO to advance mission-driven care.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the VP will provide strategic and clinical leadership across a broad range of services, including family planning, abortion care, gynecological services, and gender-affirming care. Working in close partnership with executive leadership and the VP of Patient Services, this leader will strengthen clinical standards, develop clinical leaders, support operational excellence, and help guide the future of care delivery across Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming.

The ideal candidate brings:

• An MD or DO, with board certification preferred in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Significant experience in sexual and reproductive healthcare and a strong understanding of clinical best practices, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
• A track record of leading multidisciplinary clinical teams and developing strong clinical leaders.
• The strategic vision, financial acumen, and collaborative leadership skills to translate organizational priorities into meaningful clinical outcomes.
