Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a strategic Vice President of Claims to lead the Claims department, ensure GNMA and GSE compliance, and maximize recoveries across servicing operations.

You will build scalable processes, drive timelines, manage multi-site teams, and partner with stakeholders to maintain regulatory readiness and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of leadership experience.
• 7+ years of direct GNMA/GSE claims experience.
• 5+ years of MSP/Black Knight products experience.
• Proven record of leadership and sound management skills.
• Deep understanding of GNMA and GSE servicing guides.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Multi-site/offshore team management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership and direction to the Claims department.
• Build scalable processes to ensure all Claims milestones are met timely with maximum recovery.
• Lead a team responsible for timely, accurate claim filing.
• Proactively monitor, interpret, and implement changes impacting claims operations for regulatory readiness.
• Establish and execute strategies to improve process timelines, quality, and performance.
• Maintain scalable, efficient, and compliant processes, procedures, and controls.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with direct reports, internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers.
• Cultivate a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous development among team members.
• Identify risk, resolve escalations, and implement controls to mitigate future issues.
• Perform additional duties assigned by leadership.

The Vice President of Claims provides strategic leadership and direction for all default functions specific to Mortgage Insurance Claims, ensuring strict adherence to Agency, GSE, and MI guidelines and regulatory requirements, as well as internal company policies. This role is accountable for managing the end-to-end claims process with a strong focus on obtaining maximum recovery, improving timelines, and ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.The Vice President of Claims will foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service.
