Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC seeks a strategic Vice President of Claims to lead the default functions for Mortgage Insurance Claims, ensuring adherence to GNMA/GSE guidelines and internal policies. You will drive end-to-end claims, maximize recovery, and improve timelines while fostering operational excellence and customer service.

You will build scalable processes, mentor multi-site teams, and partner with stakeholders to mitigate risk and align with company goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leadership experience.
• 7+ years direct experience managing GSE Claims.
• 7+ years direct experience managing GNMA Claims.
• 5+ years MSP/Black Knight product experience.
• Deep understanding of GNMA and GSE servicing guides.
• Strong problem solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Management experience in multi-site/offshore teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership and direction to the Claims department.
• Build scalable processes ensuring all Claims milestones are met with maximum recovery.
• Lead a team responsible for timely, accurate claim filing.
• Monitor and implement changes impacting claims operations for compliance.
• Execute strategies to improve timelines, quality, and performance.

• Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders, vendors and customers.

The Vice President of Claims will support RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing LLC. The Vice President of Claims provides strategic leadership and direction for all default functions specific to Mortgage Insurance Claims, ensuring strict adherence to Agency, GSE, and MI guidelines and regulatory requirements, as well as internal company policies. This role is accountable for managing the end-to-end claims process with a strong focus on obtaining maximum recovery, improving timelines, and ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

The Vice President of Claims will foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service. This role requires an experienced leader with direct knowledge of Ginnie Mae claims, who can lead high-performing teams and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• - Provide direct leadership and direction to the Claims department.

• - Proactively monitor, interpret, and implement changes impacting claims operations to ensure ongoing compliance and operational readiness.

• - Maintain scalable, efficient, and compliant processes, procedures, and controls.
• - Develop and maintain strong working relationships with direct reports, internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers to ensure seamless operational execution.
• - Cultivate a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous development among team members.
• - Identify risk, resolve escalations, and implement controls to mitigate future issues.
• - Perform additional duties assigned by leadership.
