Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage is seeking a seasoned Vice President of Claims to lead the Claims department, drive end-to-end GNMA and GSE claims processes, and maximize recovery timelines across multi-site operations. This leadership role requires deep regulatory knowledge and a track record of operational excellence within mortgage servicing.

The VP will shape strategies, ensure compliance, and foster collaboration with internal teams and external partners to deliver exceptional service and performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in leadership roles.
• 7+ years managing GSE Claims.
• 7+ years managing GNMA Claims.
• 5+ years MSP/Black Knight experience.
• Strong understanding of GNMA and GSE servicing guides.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership to the Claims department.
• Build scalable processes to maximize recovery.
• Lead a team for timely, accurate claim filing.
• Monitor and implement changes impacting claims operations.
• Establish strategies to improve timelines, quality, and performance.
• Maintain scalable, compliant processes and controls.
• Develop strong relationships with reports, stakeholders, vendors, and customers.
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous development.
• Identify risk, resolve escalations, and implement controls.
• Perform additional duties assigned by leadership.
