Job summary

Nexstar Media Group, Inc. seeks a Vice President/General Manager to oversee its Charleston-Huntington, WV and Bluefield-Beckley, WV markets.

You will lead WOWK and WVNS operations, along with their digital properties, to drive revenue growth with a digital-first strategy. The ideal candidate has at least five years of senior management experience in digital and broadcast sales, and a track record of scaling locally produced content across OTT, web, social and linear platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of senior management experience in digital sales, broadcast sales, content and news teams.
• Experience leading a duopoly operation is preferred.
• Proven ability to translate digital opportunities into measurable business results.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Nexstar’s WOWK (CBS) and WVNS (CBS/Fox) operations and related digital assets in Charleston-Huntington and Bluefield-Beckley markets.
• Develop and execute revenue growth strategies across digital, OTT, web, social and linear platforms.
• Lead cross-functional teams and cultivate community relations and client partnerships.
• Drive operational excellence, teamwork and continuous improvement across markets.
