As Vice President of FP&A, you will lead the evolution of a modern, technology-enabled financial planning and analysis function within a high-growth, AI-driven healthcare environment. You will oversee financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis while building scalable processes that support long-term business growth. Working closely with the CFO and executive leadership, you will provide critical financial insights to guide investment decisions, optimize resource allocation, and improve business performance. You will drive the transformation of traditional finance operations through automation, advanced planning platforms, and AI-powered tools. This role combines strategic financial leadership with hands-on execution, offering the opportunity to shape the future of the finance function. You will also lead and develop a talented team while strengthening financial visibility, operational efficiency, and cross-functional decision-making across the organization.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the overall financial planning and analysis function, overseeing long-range financial planning, annual operating plans, and monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles.
  • Establish effective financial operating rhythms, accountability frameworks, and decision-making processes across Finance and business teams, ensuring the adoption of scalable tools and practices.
  • Develop and maintain an integrated financial model incorporating three-statement modeling, key business performance indicators, and scenario analysis.
  • Own bottom-up revenue forecasting in partnership with Go-To-Market, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Data teams, covering bookings, Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), and revenue projections at client and cohort levels.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting packages, board presentations, and executive financial reviews, clearly communicating performance trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives and provide actionable recommendations to support investment decisions, capital allocation, and resource optimization.
  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor to the CFO and executive leadership, translating complex financial information into clear business insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the Controller to strengthen accounting alignment, reporting accuracy, and financial processes, improving the speed and reliability of closing and forecasting activities.
  • Lead the selection, implementation, and ongoing optimization of FP&A planning software while automating budgeting, forecasting, and reporting workflows.
  • Support investor and lender reporting requirements in collaboration with Investor Relations and the CFO, ensuring accurate financial data, relevant metrics, and compelling financial narratives.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing FP&A team, establishing standards for accuracy, efficiency, accountability, and effective business partnership.
  • Provide dedicated financial guidance to Go-To-Market, Product, and General & Administrative functions, challenging assumptions and developing financial strategies aligned with business priorities.
  • Drive the transition from manual, spreadsheet-based processes toward automated and AI-enabled financial planning, analysis, reporting, and board-material preparation.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including at least 3–5 years leading an FP&A team in a fast-paced, growth-stage business environment.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, particularly integrated three-statement models, with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated experience forecasting recurring revenue businesses, including bookings, ARR, revenue performance, and unit economics.
  • Proven ability to present financial strategies, forecasts, performance analyses, and recommendations to executive leadership teams and boards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, with hands‑on experience implementing or managing FP&A planning platforms such as Adaptive, Anaplan, or Planful.
  • Experience working with NetSuite or another Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is preferred.
  • Experience scaling a business to $200 million or more in revenue and transforming FP&A operations from manual spreadsheet-based processes into automated, AI-enabled workflows.
  • Previous experience in B2B2C, digital health, healthcare technology, or another regulated industry is considered an advantage.
  • Background in investment banking, strategic finance, venture capital, or growth equity is a plus.
  • Strong commercial judgment, strategic thinking, and executive presence, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive organizational change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights for non-finance audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities, with a passion for mentoring and developing high‑performing teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. An MBA, CFA, or CPA qualification is preferred.
  • Comfort using approved AI tools to enhance financial forecasting, analysis, and reporting, while maintaining rigorous accuracy checks and protecting confidential information.
