Position: Vice President of Finance

Location: Remote | Department: Finance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Vice President of Finance to lead accounting operations and financial systems within a dynamic, growth-oriented organization. This executive-level position is responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial data, optimizing ERP and reporting systems, and overseeing the daily execution of core accounting functions. The VP of Finance will drive efficiency, maintain regulatory compliance, and collaborate with leadership across departments to support company-wide initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide executive oversight of accounting infrastructure, including ERP platforms and integrated financial systems.
• Lead system implementations, upgrades, and troubleshooting in coordination with IT and operational teams.
• Ensure timely, accurate processing of financial transactions: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Review and reconcile financial reports, ensuring adherence to GAAP and internal policies.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls and compliance standards.
• Prepare for and support internal and external audit processes.
• Identify and implement automation and process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
• Oversee financial activities across multiple geographies, including review and approval of transactions in international offices (e.g., India and Canada).
• Manage corporate credit card program and expense management system (e.g., Concur).
• Lead cross-functional finance initiatives and contribute to executive-level decision-making through data-driven insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of GAAP, financial compliance, and internal controls.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a track record of cross-functional collaboration.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading system implementations or digital finance transformations is highly valued.

Preferred Experience & Education:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial leadership.
• Background in real estate, technology, fintech, or high-growth environments preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree (MBA or MSc) is a plus.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
