For our client, we are seeking a Vice President, Environmental Health, Safety and Operational Risk - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space.

This leader will oversee the strategy and execution of environmental health, safety, and operational risk programs across critical support functions. The role is responsible for building scalable policies, strengthening governance, and helping protect people, operations, and capital projects in complex, high-risk environments. This person will partner closely with cross-functional leaders to embed safety and risk requirements into both project development and day-to-day operations. The position also plays a key role in contractor oversight, electrical safety, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $220,000 - $250,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the environmental health, safety, and operational risk strategy for support services, with a focus on data centers and critical environments.
• Establish scalable EHS policies and performance expectations across diverse operating environments.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with new technologies and capital projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements as a senior resource.
• Integrate EHS requirements into project development and ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, Quality, or a related field preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive EHS, environmental, safety, risk, quality, or operational leadership experience.
• Experience leading multi-site or enterprise EHS programs and developing high-performing teams.
• Background in complex, regulated, high-risk environments such as construction, manufacturing, or healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and applicable environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with contractor risk management and EHS management systems.
• Excellent executive communication and change‑leadership skills.
