Job summary

Stout is seeking a VP-level Valuation Advisory professional to oversee complex valuation engagements and manage client relationships. You will lead a team, guide valuation analyses across private debt and equity portfolios, and leverage AI-powered tools to improve research and deliverables.

The role requires advanced financial modeling expertise, and a track record in purchase price allocations, impairment testing, and related reporting. CFA/ASA/CPA/CEIV are preferred credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, financial engineering, mathematics, or another quantitative field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business valuation and related financial reporting assignments.
• Strong knowledge of financial models and valuation methodologies.
• Professional designations such as CFA, ASA, CPA, or CEIV are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of valuation reports and materials.
• Perform corporate, fund, and asset valuations including DCF and comparables.
• Develop client interaction and participate in due diligence meetings.
• Provide valuation services for management planning and strategy.
• Mentor junior team members and support professional growth.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance research and efficiency.
