Job summary

New York Life seeks a Cloud and Integrations Engineering Manager to lead a team delivering cloud solutions across AWS, Mulesoft, and AI-enabled toolchains. You will drive architecture, oversee timely delivery, and mentor engineers within the Field Experience value stream.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance agent recruiting platforms, ensure performance and scalability, and champion AI-driven improvements across NYL platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as a Cloud Engineer / Developer; 12+ years in software engineering or related roles.
• Full stack development experience is a must.
• Seasoned AWS experience is a must.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; can work independently.
• Strong data analytics skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Cloud, DevOps, and Integration Engineers across design, engineering and delivery.
• Design and architect cloud solutions on AWS, Mulesoft, and AI tooling.
• Drive strategic initiatives for agent recruiting platforms and related SaaS/homegrown apps.
• Mentor engineers and enforce NYL architectural standards and best practices.
• Partner with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to refine backlog and deliver features.
