Job description

  • Manage comprehensive programs, including coordination of work and administrative support, and remain accountable for performance
  • Execute strategies and manage relationships with hospital leadership, clients, partners and vendors
  • Partner with operations stakeholders to design and execute program elements supporting strategic goals
  • Build and maintain a strong network of internal stakeholders
  • Identify problems and develop creative solutions involving data, processes and vendors
  • Perform administrative and operational functions and provide financial stewardship
  • Provide education and technical expertise for successful program implementation and sustainability
  • Lead program meetings, drive decision-making and identify next steps
  • Lead program strategies and ensure timelines, deliverables and budgets are met
  • Serve as a subject‑matter expert and liaison to councils and professional groups
  • Facilitate communication with individuals and groups
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve program effectiveness and efficiency
  • Communicate with customers and clients about meetings, schedules, problems and program status
  • Implement change‑management strategies and obtain buy‑in
  • Evaluate program implementation and effectiveness, monitor objectives and identify corrective actions
  • Operationalize strategic plans, track deliverables and deadlines, identify barriers and implement resolutions
  • Launch programmatic elements and support cross‑functional activities and committees
  • Participate in internal committees and task forces
  • Identify outcome measures and metrics and improve training
  • Manage program scope, schedule and budget; track trends and identify financial improvements
  • Monitor engagement strategies and budgets and identify cost‑saving opportunities
  • Track invoices and maintain budgetary objectives
  • Participate in inter‑professional teams creating and executing mission‑driven events
  • Lead outreach and communications strategies and implementation plans
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, clinical or related field OR Master’s degree combined with HM Fellow
  • Three years of experience related to business or healthcare administration
  • HM employees with two years of experience may be considered if they demonstrate progressive responsibilities
  • Registered and/or certified professional in area of expertise preferred
  • Sufficient proficiency in speaking, reading and writing the English language
  • Demonstrated initiative in managing projects and communicating with stakeholders
  • Ability to lead meetings, conversations and presentations with authority
  • Ability to work under pressure and balance competing priorities
  • Ability to multitask and work in an organized manner
  • Ability to uphold confidential and sensitive information
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong judgment, decision‑making, analytical and critical‑thinking skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and engage with ideas from others
  • Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously on multiple tactical and strategic initiatives
  • Strategic thinking, innovation and creativity in program management
