Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Lead Onboarding Project Manager in New York to oversee complex onboarding initiatives and maintain strong client relationships. You will collaborate with service delivery teams to align with business needs and governance standards, driving change and ensuring timely signoffs.

Ideal candidates have 5-7+ years in Alternative Investment Services roles, with deep knowledge of Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Custody, and Trustee functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 5-7 plus years of total work experience preferred.
• Strong theoretical knowledge and a good understanding of alternative fund administration and how services are delivered.
• Experience within one or more core Alternative Investment Services functions: Fund Accounting & Transfer Agency, Custody, and Trustee.
• Ability to deliver within deadlines under challenging circumstances while managing client expectations.
• Demonstrable ability to develop effective relationships with internal teams and clients.
• Ability to adapt quickly, drive change, and advocate innovative solutions and new ways of thinking.

Responsibilities

• Lead and control complex onboarding projects following governance standards.
• Manage client relationships through understanding of business needs and expectations.
• Maintain working relationships with BNY service delivery teams.
• Facilitate internal discussions about operating-model changes.
• Follow up with internal teams to obtain required signoffs.
• Escalate issues appropriately and manage them through resolution.
