Abington Manor is seeking a Part Time Activities Aide to engage residents in therapeutic recreation and events. The role involves assisting the Activity Director, planning and leading activities, and maintaining documentation and supplies. Weekend work is required, with some holidays possible.

The ideal candidate is creative, outgoing, and able to relate positively to residents and families. A background check and health screening are required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be available every other weekend.
• Ability to relate professionally to residents and families and work with others.
• Observant, driven, creative, and caring.
• Must complete post-offer background check and physical/drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist Activity Director in developing and coordinating recreation services for residents.
• Plan, lead, and document activities and special events; manage supplies and equipment.
• Engage residents with entertaining activities suited to their age and condition.
