Job summary

Complete Care at Bey Lea Assisted Living is seeking an enthusiastic Activity Aide to enrich residents' daily lives through planned recreational, social, and therapeutic activities. You will support engagement, provide one-on-one assistance, and help maintain welcoming activity spaces within a caring team.

The role offers part-time hours (4p-7p) with Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, plus every-other-weekend commitment.

Qualifications

Requires high school diploma or GED.
Previous activity aide or similar healthcare/long-term care experience preferred, but we are willing to train.
Positive attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Activities in coordinating daily recreational, social, and therapeutic programs.
Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one support during activities.
Monitor resident engagement and communicate observations to the nursing team.
Maintain accurate attendance records and activity documentation.
Help decorate the facility for holidays, seasonal events, and celebrations.
Prepare activity materials and keep spaces organized and inviting.
Support community events and special programs for residents.
