Job summary

Stonecroft Assisted Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to design and execute a calendar of activities for residents with diverse interests. You will work closely with residents, families, and staff to create meaningful, person-centered experiences that foster a vibrant community.

This role emphasizes memory care programming, resident engagement, and collaboration with the care team to integrate activities into daily life while maintaining program documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in recreation, therapeutic recreation, gerontology, social work or related field preferred.
• Experience planning activities for seniors in a healthcare or senior living setting is expected.
• Experience working with individuals with dementia or cognitive impairment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of activities, events, and outings for residents.
• Develop monthly activity calendars aligned with residents’ interests and needs.
• Engage residents, families, and staff to ensure activities are meaningful and inclusive.
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support programs and collaborate with community partners and entertainers.
• Organize special events and intergenerational activities to create memorable experiences for residents and families.
• Maintain documentation of participation, schedules, and evaluations, and ensure policy compliance.
