Job summary

YMCA of Greater Waukesha County is seeking a dynamic Group Exercise Instructor for the West Suburban YMCA in Wauwatosa, WI. This part-time role focuses on leading adult fitness classes with excellent customer service, safety, and participant engagement, under the direction of the Fitness Director.

Requirements include a high school diploma and the ability to teach more than one format; some formats may require outside certifications prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead energizing, safe group fitness classes as directed by the Fitness Director.
• Build rapport with members and promote YMCA programs and events.
• Maintain accurate class attendance records and proper use of audio/studio equipment.
• Follow YMCA policies, safety procedures, and report incidents as needed.
