Job summary

The Arnott's Group in Virginia, QLD, Australia is seeking a dedicated RF/Forklift Operator to join our Inventory team. This permanent role focuses on the efficient movement, storage, and supply of materials across our manufacturing operations.

This position is ideal for an experienced forklift operator who values safety and quality, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and collaborates with a team across Day, Afternoon or Night shifts.

• Safely operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment.

• Accurately complete RF scanning transactions and inventory movements.
• Support inventory accuracy and stock control activities.
• Conduct routine checks and inspections of equipment.
• Assist with material replenishment to production lines.
• Ensure compliance with site safety, quality, and food safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day operational issues and raise where required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the department.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

As an RF/Forklift Operator, you will:

• Safely operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment.
• Receive, store, pick, and transport raw materials and finished goods.
• Accurately complete RF scanning transactions and inventory movements.
• Support inventory accuracy and stock control activities.
• Conduct routine checks and inspections of equipment.
• Assist with material replenishment to production lines.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience operating forklifts within a manufacturing, warehousing, or logistics environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proven ability to work independently while remaining a valuable team contributor.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Sound attendance record and consistent performance history.
• Flexible approach to working across Day, Afternoon, or Night Shift as required.

Preferred

• SAP experience.
• Experience using RF scanning systems.
• Previous exposure to FMCG or food manufacturing environments.
• Understanding of inventory control and warehouse processes.
