Job summary

Knauf Australia is seeking a Customer Service Operator – Forklift Driver in Lonsdale. The role supports daily distribution operations, handling customer interactions face-to-face and over the phone, and coordinating order picking, packing, and stock checks.

You will report to the Trade Store Manager and work full-time on the listed shift, with a focus on safe handling, timely processing, and maintaining accurate paperwork for shipments.

Qualifications

• Experience in distribution & logistics is desirable.
• Ability to work from the Lonsdale site full time (Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:00pm or 7:00am-3:00pm).
• Must have strong communication with customers face-to-face and over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Unloading plasterboard as an off-sider.
• Deal with customers in person and by phone.
• Pick and pack orders daily; prepare and check paperwork.

About The Role

As a Customer Service Operator – Forklift Driver you will report to the Trade Store Manager, where you will be responsible for distribution activities through the daily operations of the Lonsdale trade store.

Some Tasks As Part Of This Role Include

• Hand unloading plasterboard as an offsider
• Dealing with Customers face-to-face & over the phone
• Picking & Packing orders on a daily basisRegularly check & make up orders
• Receipt goods & checking off paperwork while maintaining due diligence
• Loading/unloading customer vehicles
• Maintain operational equipment and report any faults or damage to management
• Record and report any customer complaints to the Trade Stores Manager regarding product and / or service via Knauf's complaint and customer procedures
• Assist with stock take / inventory counts process to ensure accurate inventory records are maintained
• General warehouse duties & housekeeping
