Job summary

Mars Incorporated, partnered with Royal Canin, is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Fort Wayne, IN area. This field-based role focuses on executing the Vet BU strategy, growing clinics, and achieving account-specific sales goals by leveraging clinic data and cross-functional collaboration.

You will translate product knowledge into opportunities, develop a territory plan, build relationships with clinic decision-makers, and deliver data-driven presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, approximately 20-30%+.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations to address veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate with key stakeholder groups across BU & organization to meet objectives.
• Build partnerships and work with others to meet shared goals.
• Execute the Veterinary BU sales strategy.
• Work in cross-functional teams in fluid environments.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies to maximise territory performance.
• Manage expense and sales budgets; complete CRM and expense reports on time.
