Job summary

Mars Incorporated (Royal Canin) is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager to lead sales execution in Lincoln, NE. This field-based role requires living within the territory and delivering data-driven initiatives to grow clinic relationships.

The candidate will develop territory plans, build relationships with clinic decision-makers, and present compelling insights to veterinary staff while traveling 20–30%+ and maintaining CRM reporting and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, 20–30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan within assigned geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Deliver data-driven presentations to address Veterinary staff needs.
• Coordinate with Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts and Scientific Affairs to meet objectives.
• Manage territory budgets and CRM reporting.
