Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for Royal Canin in Lincoln, NE. This field-based role requires residency within the territory and entails driving growth through clinic partnerships and data-driven sales strategies.

Responsibilities include translating product knowledge into opportunities, territory planning, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to meet business objectives. Overnight travel is required, with frequent interface with veterinary clinics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations to address Veterinary staff needs.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships across the BU and organization.
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy.
