Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates, based in Jackson, MS, is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager to lead field-based efforts for the Royal Canin veterinary portfolio. You will live within the territory and drive clinic opportunities while leveraging sales data to meet goals.

The role requires 2+ years of sales experience (B2B preferred), veterinary clinic exposure, strong communication and presentation abilities, and a valid driver's license with travel ~20–30%+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required; ~20–30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs.
• Grow clinics within assigned geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Deliver data-driven presentations to address veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate with BU and organization across stakeholders.
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy.
• Work in a cross-functional team-based environment in fluid settings.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies to maximize territory performance.
