Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager to drive the Vet BU strategy in Charlotte South, NC by growing clinic access and vet recommendations within the territory. This field-based role requires living in the territory and entails 20–30% travel, with cross-functional collaboration to meet business KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends; ~20–30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within the geography.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations to address Veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet shared objectives across teams.
• Build partnerships and work with others to achieve territory goals.
• Execute the Veterinary BU sales strategy effectively.
• Adapt strategy in a fluid, cross-functional environment.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies as needed.
• Manage expenses and complete CRM/expense reports and presentations.
