Job summary

Mars UK is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager to lead the veterinary business unit within a defined Portland, OR territory. This field-based role requires residing within the territory and traveling 20-30% to clinics and conferences.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of sales experience, veterinary clinic exposure, and strong communication and presentation skills. Bachelor’s degree preferred; a valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends; approximately 20-30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customers, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs and grow clinics within the geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers in the territory.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations addressing the veterinary staff's needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategy with BU objectives and cross-functional needs.
• Manage partnerships and execute the veterinary sales strategy within a field-based, territory-driven model.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with the Line Manager and adjust strategies based on territory performance.
• Track budgets and generate CRM, expense reports, and presentations accurately.
