Job summary

Mars Incorporated in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager to cover Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. The role is field-based and requires living within the territory with occasional overnight travel.

You will execute the Vet BU strategy, grow clinic access, and build relationships with clinic decision-makers while delivering data-driven presentations and meeting KPIs. Travel approximately 20-30% is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, ~20-30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate product, category, customer and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan and grow clinics within the geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations for Veterinary staff.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet objectives.
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy.
• Work in a cross-functional, fluid, complex environment and conduct quarterly reviews.
• Manage expense and sales budgets; complete CRM and expense reports on time.
