Qualifications

• RVT and 3+ years in a large hospital setting.
• Proven teaching/training experience in a veterinary setting.
• Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine, clinical procedures, animal handling, and medical terminology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for education and mentorship.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supports training objectives and creates additional coursework as needed.
• Schedules and organizes all training meetings, classes, and practical coursework.
• Writes outlines, texts, handouts, tests, and practical exercises.
• Administers written and practical exams and provides updates on performance.
• Assists in interviews and skill assessments for new hires as requested.
• Coordinates training across multiple forums/times to cover 24-hour staff.
• Supports staff reviews to clarify expectations and performance.
• Initiates new technical employees into the home hospital.
• Upholds ACCESS spirit in all tasks.
