Qualifications

• High school diploma required; CVT/LVT/RVT/LVMT preferred or as required by state regulations.
• Minimum 3 years veterinary technician experience with high clinical proficiency.
• Supervisory/lead experience preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead and schedule technical staff; administer on-call and overtime; ensure patient care standards.
• Oversee daily operations of the technical department; mentor team and ensure quality care.
• Perform veterinary technician duties as part of the clinical team; manage admissions, hospitalization, and discharge.
• Collaborate with veterinarians on case management and continuous improvement.
• Oversee client flow, resolve concerns, and ensure professional client communication.
• Oversee department cleanliness, inventory, budget, and compliance programs.
