is hiring an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician Supervisor to help oversee clinic operations and lead our team of Veterinary Technicians & Veterinary Assistants.

About the Role

As Veterinary Technician Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

1. Directing workflow on the floor
2. Cultivating an engaging work environment and maintaining our strong hospital culture
3. Working cohesively with hospital management and supervisory teams to aid in the hospital's progression
4. Assisting with the interview process for potential new hires and onboarding all new associates
5. Supporting the educational development of technicians and their skills
6. Conducting staff meetings
7. Providing opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience
8. Mentoring technicians within the department
9. Resolving conflicts professionally and humbly
10. Refining and implementing protocols
11. Ensuring all technical staff adhere to VCA policies, guidelines, and recommendations

Being a Technician Supervisor means believing in the possibilities of high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care—possessing the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.

Having mastered the full range of vet tech skills yourself, you serve as a role model for the team. You will work alongside our Veterinarians, Hospital Manager, and Assistant Manager to provide mentorship, ensure efficient hospital operation, and foster a positive environment.

Qualifications:

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician - CVT, LVT, RVT, LVMT
• 5+ years of clinical experience
• Team leadership experience
• Passion for Veterinary Medicine
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
