Job summary

The ASPCA Community Medicine team in New York is seeking a licensed Veterinary Technician to support high-volume spay/neuter and preventive care at our Queens clinic. You will work with veterinarians and technicians to deliver high-quality medical care across spay/neuter surgeries and outpatient services.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring anesthesia, maintaining records, and ensuring a safe, compassionate environment for animals.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from accredited school of veterinary science technology (2 or 4 year program).
• Must have current New York State Veterinary Technician License.

Responsibilities

• Care for cats and dogs in spay/neuter surgery (35-40 per day).
• Administer injections, monitor anesthesia, and provide post-operative care.
