Job summary

The ASPCA’s Community Veterinary Clinic in New York is seeking a licensed Veterinary Technician to join our CM team. You will perform medical duties, support spay/neuter operations, and assist with outpatient care in a high-volume setting.

English proficiency required; prior experience with animal welfare organizations is a plus. The role reports to the Queens clinic and offers a competitive pay range and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited veterinary technology program or equivalent per NYS Education Department.
• Current NYS Veterinary Technician license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Care for 35-40 cats and dogs daily in spay/neuter surgery.
• Administer injections, vaccines, and medications; monitor patients.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of facilities and equipment.
• Document medical information accurately in digital records.
• Collaborate with veterinarians and CM staff; provide team support.
