Job summary

Rutland Veterinary Clinic & Surgical Center is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced, high-volume practice in Rutland, VT. You will assist in surgeries, monitor anesthesia, and provide post-operative care while collaborating with a supportive team dedicated to compassionate care.

Ideal candidates have experience with IV catheter placement, blood draws, lab work, and dental prophylaxis, and excel in client communication.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician or eligible for VTNE/licensure.
• Experience in surgical prep and anesthesia monitoring.
• Proficiency with labs, IV catheter placement, and dental cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures and monitor anesthesia.

• A Veterinary Technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Experienced in surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring, and post-operative care.
• Skilled in placing IV catheters, drawing blood, performing lab tests, and dental prophylaxis (scaling and polishing).
