Job summary

Sequist Animal Hospital in Morristown, Vermont is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join a team that values a positive work environment and compassionate patient care. The role includes assisting veterinarians, performing lab work, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, phlebotomy, and client education.

The clinic operates Monday to Friday 8am–5pm with a four‑day work week and no weekends or late shifts. Pay ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, based on experience, with a $1000 sign-on bonus for

Qualifications

• Assisting veterinarians during examinations and surgeries.
• Understanding medical terminology and products.
• Safe and fear-free animal restraint/handling.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
• Running lab diagnostics.
• Phlebotomy and catheter placement.
• Appropriate sterilization and infection control.
• Provide client education through effective communication.
• Anesthesia monitoring pre- and post-op.
• Record keeping.

We are currently looking for a Veterinary Technician to join the team.
