Job summary

Burlington Veterinary Center is hiring a Veterinary Technician to join our progressive hospital. You will work in surgical & clinical services, handling anesthesia, lab work, imaging, and client education in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of veterinary technician experience.
• Strong skills in phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, dentistry, and patient recovery.
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) preferred or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor, and support patients through surgery and anesthesia.
• Conduct in-house laboratory diagnostics (bloodwork, cytology, etc.).
• Assist with imaging procedures (radiology and ultrasound).
• Provide advanced nursing care for hospitalized patients.
• Support dentistry procedures and treatments.
• Collaborate with doctors to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Engage in client communication and education as part of a team-oriented practice.

Role: Experienced or Licensed Veterinary Technician—Surgical & Clinical Services

Status: Full-time

Salary: Negotiable and based on experience

Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts. No weekends.

What Our Veterinary Technicians Do
