Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health is seeking a Veterinary Technician for the Anesthesia team in Williston, VT. This full-time role focuses on advanced anesthesia, surgery, and specialty medicine alongside board-certified specialists in a collaborative hospital.

The position supports anesthesia cases, patient assessments, and procedures, with opportunities to work on surgeries, MRI, CT, and complex cases in a high-quality clinical setting.

Qualifications

Experienced Veterinary Technician, Vet Tech, CVT, RVT, or LVT preferred.
Anesthesia, surgery, specialty, emergency, or critical care experience preferred; strong patient monitoring, technical, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced specialty veterinary environment.
Fluent English speaking and reading skills required.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing anesthesia cases while collaborating with board-certified specialists and VTS technicians.
Perform patient assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures alongside each surgeon.
Obtain and process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates.
Execute, monitor, and recover assigned sedation and anesthetic events.
Assist with operating room duties as a nurse and scrub-in technician during orthopedic surgeries.
Provide comfort, advocacy, and high-quality nursing care for every patient.

PEAK Veterinary Referral Center in Williston, VT is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Anesthesia team. This full-time Veterinary Technician opportunity is ideal for a Vet Tech looking to expand advanced anesthesia, surgery, and specialty medicine skills while working alongside board-certified specialists in a collaborative specialty animal hospital.

As a Veterinary Technician on our Anesthesia team, you' ll support advanced procedures including surgery, MRI, CT, and complex specialty cases while practicing high-quality medicine in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Compensation

$22–$35/hour, based on credentialing, experience, and skill set
