Job summary

Metropolitan Veterinary Associates is seeking a Veterinary Technician for Recovery at Hickory Veterinary and Specialty Hospital in Plymouth Meeting, PA. Full‑time position with a $2,000 retention bonus, and a schedule of four 10‑hour days Mon–Fri with rotating weekends.

You will focus on recovering post‑surgery patients and supporting inpatient teams and anesthesia when needed. Ideal candidates have experience in fast-paced specialty, emergency, or surgical settings, strong clinical skills, and

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced specialty, emergency, or surgical setting.
• Strong clinical skills including IV placement and venipuncture.
• Knowledge of pharmacology and anesthesia protocols.

Responsibilities

• This nurse will help recover post surgery patients for all departments.
• May also help inpatient teams with recovered surgical patients.
• May help anesthesia team induce for surgery, set up OR's, Clean and sterile process instruments

Compensation

• Starting at $20 - $23/hr depending on experience and credentials
