Job summary

Lovet Pet Health Care is hiring a Veterinary Technician to assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including surgery, while ensuring compassionate care for all patients. You will support anesthesia processes, patient monitoring, and post-operative care, while delivering excellent service to clients.

The role requires lifting up to 40 pounds and strong communication skills; certification or a related associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting veterinarians with medical procedures and surgeries.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
• Strong customer service and animal handling skills.
• Preference for certified veterinary technicians and related degrees.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor with medical procedures, including surgery, under direct supervision.
• Provide high quality care to all patients and communicate with clients.
• Assist with anesthesia, pre-anesthetic protocols, monitoring, and recovery.
• Document medical records and use practice software for patient data.
