Job summary

Lovet Pet Health Care is hiring a Veterinary Assistant to support doctors, communicate care plans to clients, and provide compassionate pet care in a growing animal hospital. The role includes assisting with procedures under supervision, managing records, and maintaining a clean, efficient clinic.

Candidates should be able to lift 40 pounds, possess strong communication skills, and be comfortable working with animals of all types; preferred credentials include a veterinary technician license and

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
• Comfortable interacting with animals of all kinds.
• Experience in a clinical setting is a plus.
• Certified veterinary technician credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor with medical procedures under supervision.
• Provide written and verbal communication to clients about pet care and treatments.
• Deliver WOW service to clients and their pets.
• Manage medical records using practice management software.
• Dispense medications, assist with vaccines and diagnostics, and restrain animals when needed.
• Set up, break down, and clean equipment; maintain hospital cleanliness.
