Job summary

Lovet Pet Health Care in the Greater Phoenix area seeks a Veterinary Technician to support doctors in surgeries and routine care. You will provide high-quality patient care, monitor anesthesia, maintain medical records, and assist with diagnostics, vaccines, and treatments.

Strong communication with clients and teamwork are essential; lifting up to 40 pounds is required. Qualified candidates may have a certification or associate degree preferred, and you’ll benefit from mentorship, growth

Qualifications

• Comfortable interacting with animals and clients with empathy and calm demeanor.
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Be able to lift at least 40 pounds.
• Certification as a veterinary technician is preferred.
• Associate degree in veterinary assisting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor with medical procedures, including surgery, under supervision.
• Provide high-quality care to pets and excellent customer service to clients.
• Monitor anesthesia pre- and post-operatively and during surgery.
• Document and communicate care plans, questions, and consent to clients.
