Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician for our Havertown, PA clinic. You will provide end-to-end care for our patients, assist with outpatient treatments, and support admission and discharge workflows.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of clinical veterinary experience, strong anesthesia skills, and excellent communication and organization. CVT/RVT/LVT credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
  • CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) preferred
  • Superior/advanced technical skills
  • Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, SpO2, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
  • Possesses a positive work attitude
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and organization skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end care for patients, including outpatient treatments and laboratory tests.
  • Assist with admitting and discharging patients to support smooth clinic operations.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians to monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure high standards of care.

Keystone Veterinary Emergency & Referral is looking for a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Havertown, PA.

About You

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

Your Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
